Route: Chandigarh-Shimla-Manali-Dharamshala-Dalhousie-Amritsar
Day 1:-Chandigarh-Shimla (120 Kms/ 3-4 Hrs)
Pick up from Chandigarh Railway Station / Airport and drive towards Shimla. Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh & former summer capital of British Raj known as queen of hills, which offer some of the most beautiful view of Himalayas. Check into the hotel and overnight at Shimla.
Day 2:-Shimla–Green Valley-Kufri-Nature Park-Fun Campus–Vice Regal Lodge–Jakhoo Temple & Mall Road.
After breakfast.drive to Kufri situated at an altitude of 2680 mtrs. Famous for Himalayan view & Nature Park. Enjoy adventure activities at Fun Campus on direct payment basis. After that drive to city tour visiting Vice Regal Lodge ( closed on Monday) and Jakhu Temple, Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place ofShimla town – The Mall & The Ridge. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : –Shimla–Sunder Nagar-Pandoh Dam–Hanogi Temple-Kullu–Vaishno Devi Temple-Manali (275 Kms/7-8 Hrs)
Today we proceed to Manali enroot enjoy the most beautiful & picturesque part of the Himachal Pradesh which takes you through some exhilarating scenery. On the way visit Hanogi Temple & Vaishno Devi temple. In the evening on arrival in Manali check in hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure.
Day 04 : –Manali–Hadimba Temple–Club House–Manu Temple-Tibetan Monastery & Vishisht Hot Spring.
Morning after breakfast go for city tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Club House, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Vashisht Village. Evening free to stroll on Mall Road. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : –Manali–Nehru Kund-Gulaba–Rahala Falls-Snow Point & Solang Valley
Full day excursion to Solang Valley on the way visit Nehru Kund, Gulaba, Rahala Falls, Snow Point – is the most visited tourist spot in Himalayas having snow fall all year around in the Evening return to hotel.
Day 06 : –Manali-Mandi-Baijnath Temple–Palampur Tea Estate-Dharamshala (250 Km /7 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Dharmsala has everything for a perfect holiday. It is full of life and yet peaceful. Covering a wide area in the form of twin settlement, Lower Dharmsala (1380m) is a busy commercial centre. While upper Dharmsala (1830m) with the suburbs of Mcleodganj and Forsytheganj, retains a British flavour and colonial lifestyle, on the way visit Plalampur Tea Gardens on arrival check into the hotel and overnight at Dharamshala.
Day 07 : –Dharamshala-Mcleodganj-Bhagsunag Temple-Dalhousie (150kms/4-5hrs)
Today after breakfast drive to city tour visit McLeodganj. Visit the Tibetan NamgyalMonastry known as little Lhasa, has huge gilded bronzes of the Buddha. You can see large number of animated monks debating and doing the morning prayer. Little children learning to worship Buddha. If you are lucky you may encounter the spiritual leader, the H H Dalai Lamaface to face. The “St. John’s Church”, which was built by Britishers in 1860, has attractive stained glass windows. The Viceroy Lord Elgin, who died in office, is buried here according to his wish, as it reminded him of his native Scotland.
After that drive to Dalhousie situated at 2039 mts in the outer slopes of the DhaulaDhar range with its natural beauty and natural surroundings. Arrive & transfer to hotel. Dalhousie still has a touch of the British Raj and its colonial style building and houses bring back the flavors of an earlier era. On arrival check into the hotel.
Day 08 : –Dalhousie–Kalatop-Khajjiar-Dalhousie (50kms/2-3hrs)
After breakfast we proceed to Khajjiar. Often called India ‘s Switzerland , Along its fringes, thick forests of deodar climb the slopes, the snow-line rests above these woods and in the centre of the glade, is a small lake fed by streams that traverse the green carpet. Khajjiar was probably a glacial bowl formed during the last Himalayan ice age and left with a lake that gradually withered away. Khajjiar is part of the notified Kalatop – Khajjiar sanctuary & return back to Dalhousie. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : –Dalhousie–Amritsar (250kms/5-6hrs)
After Breakfast check out form the hotel and drive towards Amritsar on arrival go for sightseeing visit Golden Temple, Jalian Wala Bagh and attend Wagah Border ceremony in the evening and overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 : –Amritsar–Chandigarh Drop
After breakfast check out form the hotel and drive towards drop at Chandigarh Railway Station / Airport.
